Repeat this ten times. Pay attention to how each breath feels.

This moment. That breath: that’s your entire life. So savour it. Soak it all in, and leave nothing on the table: because it’s all we get.

As Seneca said:

It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much. … The life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully.
